Zurich to Lucerne

We traveled through the Swiss countryside the 60 or so Km from Zurich to Lucerne. It was a wonderful journey as the sun was shining and the weather was great. You can really get a feel for the Swiss countryside as you travel through it's center. For all of you have Swiss Army knives, we went past the factory today and I plan on buying some Christmas presents tomorrow. We passed many lakes, some of whom host the rich and famous at five start resorts and luxurious chalets. Instead of driving all the way to Lucerne we went by boat the last hour. Again, since the weather was great, it was a pleasurable experience. We will do a walking city tour tomorrow.
