Regent Seven Seas

Charleston Day 2 and Jacksonville

overcast 80 °F

There were some showers in the area when we left Charleston, which made for a wonderful rainbow over Castle Pinkney as we went out!

Our next stop was the port of Jacksonville. Since it was Sunday morning, the ship served caviar and champagne for breakfast, along with the usual breakfast fare.

The port of Jacksonville isn't really tourist friendly, as it it more than 10 miles from Jacksonville. As we weren't interested in any of the shore excursions which focused on places that we have already been to, we enjoyed a quite day on the ship. We headed to sea at 5:00pm - a wonderful voyage from the pier to the open ocean on the St. John river.
