Holland America's Koningsdam

Nassau

sunny 80 °F

The dining saga continues. Simply put, we were unable to make any reservations at any dining venue - open or specialty - on the ship. Everything was sold out or had availability at 9:30pm. Several folks were able to get in to the dining room as singles, but nothing more than 2 people. Bottom line: if you don't have assigned dining or a reservation before you get on the ship, you are pretty much on your own.\
Now the good news. I ate in the Lido and the offerings were absolutely spectacular - by far the best dinner options in that venue that I have ever seen. Shrimp cocktail, superb moist salmon, grilled shrimp and more. Wow, what a surprise.
