Travelling home

After a great wedding, I flew home on Delta through Atlanta, just to get a different perspective. Not much was different than the trip north. Check-in in Cleveland was easy as was TSA Pre-check.

The main difference is that Delta thoroughly cleans the planes between flights including misting the air. They have spaced out their departures so that there is sufficient time to make this happen. Masks were required as expected and middle seats were left open. Upon boarding each passenger was provided with an alcohol wipe by the flight attendant. On board snacks consisted of a pre-packaged bag with a small bottle of water and some standard Delta munchies.

Atlanta was still quite busy with a number of flights coming and going, however there were not international flights on the departure board. The sky club was open, with masks required and the food available was all pre-packaged, but tasty. People were pretty good about wearing masks except when eating and drinking and tried to space themselves out.

As the Pilot said Delta is now the 'clean machine' and suggested that if everyone wore a mask, we would be done with this sooner rather than later!

Next trip in in December hopefully. A Caribbean cruise on Royal Clipper.
